fw-08 step 01 — Matching, history, nesting

Tasks

1. URL parsing and route matching: static, params, wildcards; rank by specificity.
2. History API: pushState, replaceState, popstate. Confirm for yourself that popstate does not report direction and that pushState does not fire it.
3. Nested routes and a matched-route chain.
4. Redirects, including loops — detect and fail loudly rather than hanging.
5. Track your own history index, since the stack is unreadable. Note what this forces you to build.

• The platform constraints you had to work around are written down
