• Life of a Pixel — Steve Kobes. The single best orientation to the rendering pipeline; watch before anything else. Slides.
• How Blink works — Kentaro Hara. The architectural map: process model, DOM, bindings, style, layout, paint.
• Chromium docs index — in-tree, versioned with the code, and therefore the source of truth over any blog post.

Navigating the source

• Chromium Code Search — cross-referenced; f: filters by path, c: by content, and clicking a symbol finds all call sites.
• Blink renderer directory — where nearly all of this track lives.
• Chromium issue tracker — note: not the old bugs.chromium.org.
